For over 25 years, the Wharf has utilised local products and established signature dishes that stand out for their quality, flavour and value. From the unique Barramundi Wings, the delicious simplicity of a perfectly grilled piece of local fish or the bold yet delicate flavour of a Kimberley Chilli Mud Crab, The Wharf Restaurant will ensure a memorable seafood experience.
Bringing you the Kimberley’s Finest Seafood Since 1995
Craig Douglas established his first Wharf Restaurant in Derby in 1995. It didn’t take long for the Wharf Restaurant’s first rate reputation to be become established with locals and travellers alike. Five years later, Craig opened a second Wharf Restaurant in Broome. The same reputation of quality seafood and produce spread quickly. Within the next five years, the Broome Wharf Restaurant was so successful that the Derby Wharf was reluctantly sold to enable the ‘Wharf’ team to focus solely on the restaurant in Broome.
More than 25 years later, the Wharf Restaurant Broome, with its exceptional kitchen team of experienced chefs, including long term Head Chef Hau Duong, is still a favourite among locals and is frequented by return interstate and international visitors, as it consistently provides top quality seafood prepared simply to complement the taste sensations of our local North Western Fisheries.
